Plotagon is a virtual world for creating stories. This web 2.0 tool offers a creative and unique way to display conversation or create an animated movie to share information. It allows you to change features on each character from their hair color to their, facial reactions and clothing. The major downfall to this tool is that it is a little expensive there is only a 7 day free trial. After the trial you either need to pay 49 dollars monthly or 499 annually. This tool is not the most east tool to follow however there are a lot of tutorials that help you along the way. If students are given ample time to play and test this tool they will be able to pick up its features and how they work easily.

Emaze is a presentation web 2.0 tool. You are able to gain limited free access by creating a log in. In which the majority of the elements in the tool are available to you. However the limitation comes when you want to make multiple powerpoint presentations. With the free model you only get 3-4 free presentations and then you are asked to upgrade. Similar to Prezi in the presentation it will display the entire project and then zoom in on each individual element as you present. Emaze also offers other elements such as blogs, websites, photo albums, and E-cards. This is a great tool for the classroom and offers a very professional look to all of its designs whether you are doing a presentation, creating a website, blog or E-card.
Word Art is a tool similar to Wordle. It is a word generator that allows you to choose an image and displays the text in the form of that image. Word Art has many free features, it allows you to create an image and then share it over email or on a social media. It also has a download feature however this costs per image. There is no registration process you can just create your image and then share it without creating an account. This tool is pretty user friendly everything is straight forward and has drop downs that go in order of what needs to be done to create your image. Simply playing around with the tool for a few minutes you can figure out most features to create your Word Art.
Think of Google Docs as a cloud based Microsoft Word tool. However on top of being a document tool it is also a collaboration tool. Meaning multiple people can work on a document at the same time. It allows you to highlight areas and add comments that others can see while you are working on the document. Similar to a text feed happening right on the side of your document. This is probably the web 2.0 tool I have used most often. It is very versatile and can do just about everything that Microsoft word can do. This tool is very user friendly and is free as long as you create an email account through Google (gmail).
Prezi is also a presentation tool similar to powtoons it offers some really cool design and interactive elements. It is very professional looking and can offer a great model for work, school or organizational purposes. I really enjoy to use this tool when having to present a lot of content. It captures all of your elements but then will zoom in on each individual element as you go through the different slides. One major con to Prezi is in order to really gain access to everything you have to pay for a monthly or yearly subscription. A major advantage for Prezi is that its a cloud based system so you can work on it anywhere you have internet access. As well as it allows others to log in and work on it as well.
